Tie breaker rules have
been applied to determine the final standings.
*
Tie-breaker rules will be applied to determine place in standings and seeding for
playoffs.
Determination
of Standings
Due to the effect of tie games standings are determined as follows. Wins =
2 Points, Ties = 1 Point
Teams with an equal amount of points will be considered tied for a
position in the standings unless one of those teams has more wins. In that
instance the team with the most wins will be considered ahead in the
standings.
If
teams still remain tied then the following tie breaking rules shall apply
to the regular season standings. This shall then be used for the purpose
of determining the seedings to be used for the playoffs.
Tiebreakers
are as follows
1 - Head to Head winner
2 - Record against common opponents
3 - Record against common opponents from top of the standings, one team at
a time
4 - Record against teams with a record of .500 or better
5 - Strength of schedule - based on total wins by all opposing teams
played
6 - Flip a coin |
